PERCORSI IN CERAMICA 14
Casalgrande Padana was one of the first companies in the ceramic industry to have become seriously committed towards endeavouring to ensure that goals such as financial success and development were able to coexist with social scopes such as safeguarding the environment, sustainability, labour safety and health, the sense of "belonging" to the territory, creation of special projects and dialogue with the local community.
Manufacturing advanced and environment-friendly ceramic materials and proposing innovative solutions for contemporary architecture in a correct balance amongst economic growth, technological progress, social responsibility, respect for natural resources and safeguarding the environment are distinctive features that are part of Casalgrande Padana's DNA. Ours is an enterprise that fully approves the international trends promoted by the UNO and the European Union and that strive towards Corporate Social Responsibility.
In this monographic issue, "Ceramic Tile Routes" discusses these aspects, delineating the way Casalgrande Padana approaches CSR, the constant commitment towards creating a widespread value with both our internal and external interlocutors - employees, customers, suppliers, designers, local communities, public authorities - and towards the territory in which we work, the results we have achieved, our future goals.
An intense and continuous action that the industrial community, the associations and institutions have awarded with two important acknowledgements: First Price in the "2006 Sodalitas Social Award" for the "Socially and environmentally significant product or service innovation" category awarded to Casalgrande Padana for the Loges project, and the Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the year" award which our chairman Franco Manfredini received as finalist in the "Quality of Life" category.
